Twenty Ten

We are already in February of the year twenty ten,
my holidays have been, and gone
and I have now officially lived in Perth for a year
and am two weeks into Med 200.

and it has all gone way to fast.

Its gone faster than I would like, too fast to adequately reflect on all that has been,
all that has started, all that existed and all that has gone.

study, friends, flight, family, flight, exams,  christmas, family, holidays, work, family, friends, flight, friends, and study again.

I have so much to share about what has happened over the past 4 or 5 months, but there just isnt space or time to reflect on that much at this point in time - but I will get there, as I do want to be more consistant in keeping this blog filled this year - at least once a month (surely I can do that right?) surely I want at least space for that much procrastination in a month to be able to share whats growing in my brain with you all.

So yes, in case you missed it, I am back in Freo - and back at Med school
and boy has it been a full on three weeks.
So many mixed emotions, excitement and fear about Med200. Both of which are probably appropriate feelings.

Med 200 has been pretty full on already, there is a lot to know and heaps to cram into every day.
I have been studying in most of my uni breaks so I can have time off at home [which I have managed to fill with baking, gardening, running, swimming, facebook (always a favourite), reading and of course, study].

Loads of work but I am so excited, already I am intrigued by pathology, by learning about diseases and how to work out what is going on inside of someone when they are sick. Its problem solving, its gore filled and its about people - really what could be better?
So I am excited
And the uni has a really cool buzz about it at this time of year, med school is filled with fresh new faces who are all excited about starting medicine, all the staff seem fresh and us Med200 kids are seriously just excited to be Med200 and to be finally feeling like we are getting stuck into it. Its a good place to be right now.

I have to run but I have read an awesome book over summer, so a reflection on that should appear in the next day or so.

much love,
bickers
