Thats right, I went to my first ever rodeo last weekend!

cows
bulls
potti calves
barrel races
camp draft
bucking brumbies
bulls
country music blaring
cowboy boots
cowboy hats
cowboys
cowgirls
than you could imagine at a cowboy themed party!
and
there was even a good ol' fashioned barn dance!!
As a part of my placement in Halls Creek I assisted with manning the ambulance for the event, a crucial component of the Rodeo taking place. I assisted with four transfers to hospital and remarkably no bones were broken...
well at least thats what I thought until Monday and Tuesday when the ED was filled with Ringers and Cowgirls who realised that pain in their leg/arm/hand/ribs wasn't actually getting any better.
I had so much fun, who would have thought I may even be a country music convert?!
Definitely add it to Amy's Kimberley Highlights!!!
