I hate it when best intentions go awry.
I planned on studying my day away today, finishing my pbl summaries from last week nd starting to delve into how the heart is formed so that I can be 'in this week' in my head as I study the new topic this week.
I also planned on completing this weeks pre-lab before lab tomorrow - and I managed to print off everything but that when I printed off the past two weeks and this weeks uni notes.
best intentions went awry.
and whats worse is I have no excuses. yeah sure I:
did my washing, went for a run, did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen, cooked lunch, skyped Tess and returned some emails.
and yeah I even did some uni related things:
printed uni notes (which I still haven't hole punched and put in a folder - so really all i did was cover my desk with papers)
and attempted to read some of the really cool embryology website that I found - and it felt like it was all in another language, even though I thought I got this stuff on friday!
Oh and I wrote a sentence "epiblasts move to the cranial portion of the neural tube" - which I now stare at and wonder if it is even right...
I had the best study intentions and plans,
I even wrote a list! - which I just screwed up and threw it at the bin (and yes missed for those who are wondering) cos reading it just shamed me.
and I at least sat at my desk to start some study
I will never understand what precipitates a good effective study day - which I do have sometimes, when hours just melt away and I barely even notice that I have written pages of notes and concepts just fall into my brain. If I knew the difference between those days and days like today I would bottle what I have on those days and take a swig when I need to.
study in a bottle?
